Fuel

While enjoying a few afternoon libations at Bodega's in Columbus Ohio's Short North district, I kept noticing this bike zipping up and down High Street. I eventually caught up with the bike, and it's owner, Pelham. Pelham has put a lot of TLC in to this rebuilt machine. He started with a vintage Raleigh frame, built in the original Nottingham factory. He borrowed the fenders from another old bike, and added a brown leather Brook's saddle and matching hand grips. The track bars and headlight add a distinguished touch to the front end. Pelham had the frame powder coated and to protect the finish, he fashioned elk skin washers to provide a buffer between the hardware and the fresh paint. That is dedication, my friends. Cheers, Pelham!
